Be Wild: A Bold Display Font for Eye-Catching Campaigns
When I was designing the hero graphic for a limited-time product launch, I needed a font that would cut through the noise and command attention. That’s when I landed on Be Wild, a bold and incredibly distinct display font created with the help of a brush pen. Its dynamic strokes and expressive curves gave my campaign visuals an instant sense of energy and movement, making it perfect for high-impact digital content.
Be Wild for Product Teasers and Digital Ads
Be Wild is a display font that brings personality to promotional materials. In the case of a seasonal sale campaign, I used it for the headline “Last Chance: 50% Off Ends Tonight!” The font's expressive style helped reinforce urgency while maintaining a modern edge. It worked exceptionally well in digital ads, where first impressions are crucial. The visual weight of Be Wild made the message stand out against a clean background, ensuring it caught the eye even on fast-scrolling feeds.
For mobile previews, I paired Be Wild with a minimalist sans serif font for body text. This combination ensured readability without sacrificing the boldness that makes Be Wild so effective in driving engagement.
Be Wild in Instagram Posts and Pinterest Campaigns
Creating a series of Instagram posts for a new course launch, I experimented with different variations of Be Wild. On one post, I used it for the title “Unlock Your Creativity Today” over a gradient backdrop. The result was visually striking and aligned perfectly with the brand’s playful yet professional tone. The font’s brush-like texture added a human touch that resonated with the target audience of creative professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs.
On Pinterest, where visual appeal drives clicks, I applied Be Wild to pins promoting DIY projects and branding tips. The font’s uniqueness helped these pins stand out in a sea of similar content, increasing saves and shares. I found that using Be Wild as a decorative title or callout rather than for long-form text kept the design clean and focused.
Be Wild for YouTube Thumbnails and Webinar Banners
Designing a set of YouTube thumbnails for a marketing strategy series, I leaned into the boldness of Be Wild to create strong visual anchors. For one thumbnail, I used the font for the title “Advanced Social Media Hacks” alongside a relevant icon. The contrast between the hand-drawn feel of Be Wild and the sleek icon created a balanced, memorable composition.
In webinar banners, I paired Be Wild with a clean sans serif typeface to ensure clarity. Using the font for the main headline, such as “Master Your Brand Voice,” helped draw attention to the event’s value proposition. The font’s imposing presence made it ideal for headlines but less suitable for dense informational text, which I reserved for secondary typography.
Be Wild in Email Promotions and Landing Page Headers
For a promotional email about a new online shop, I incorporated Be Wild into the subject line and header. The phrase “Shop Now & Save Big” in Be Wild immediately conveyed excitement and urgency. I tested it across multiple email clients and found that its legibility remained strong even at smaller sizes, which was important for inbox visibility.
On landing pages, I used Be Wild for the main headline, such as “Transform Your Brand Today.” The font’s distinctive character supported the page’s overall aesthetic while reinforcing the brand’s identity. However, I avoided using it for subheadings or body copy, as the complexity of the strokes could reduce readability in longer text blocks.
Be Wild for Branded Templates and Editorial Design
As part of a branded template pack for a client, I included Be Wild as a go-to font for headlines and logos. Its unique style helped establish a cohesive visual language across social media assets, website headers, and print materials. When combined with a complementary script or sans serif font, it allowed for versatile design options that maintained brand consistency.
I also used Be Wild in editorial design for a blog post about creative fonts. The title “Why Be Wild Works for Modern Branding” stood out beautifully against a dark background, proving that the font can adapt to various color schemes and layouts.
Before finalizing any project using Be Wild, I always check for available styles, alternates, and ligatures to ensure it fits the specific needs of the campaign. Confirming commercial licensing and multilingual support is essential, especially for global campaigns or digital products.
